Domiciles - This Is Not a Zen Garden

Written recorded produced & mixed by myself & Rory Cowieson, the bands debut album draws from a myriad of different influences; hints of throbbing krautrock & kaleidoscopic drone permeate their music, whilst touching on sneering garage, blissed-out space rock & experimental noise. Dark & heavy psychedelic grooves are built with jarring guitar leads, droning feedback & sharp synthesisers. The release of this album garnered national attention & subsequent acclaim, was included in esteemed music/culture publication Louder Than War 's Best Albums of 2019 roundup and was Mo Fidelity Records' best selling record of 2019.

This Is Not a Zen Garden was released on black, white & limited edition splatter 12" vinyl as well as all digital channels, on 16th August 2019 via Last Night From Glasgow. The original pressing of 200 white & 300 black vinyl quickly sold out & was subsequently re-pressed on coloured splatter vinyl, limited to 300 units.
Soursob - Soursob

A highly collaborative process between myself & the band resulted in this extended player that received rave reviews by national press. Recorded produced & mixed by myself, a secondary EP has been with the band. Soursob was released on limited edition cassette as well as all digital channels, on 13 December 2019 via Fuzzkill Records, and has been combined with the follow up EP & released as their debut LP on by influential Chicago record label Hozac Records on 18th June 2021, limited to 100 gold 12" vinyl and 300 standard black 12" vinyl.

PG Ciarletta
Throughout 2020 I took on a mentoring role with newcomer artist PG Ciarletta; recording, producing, mixing & mastering his debut single The Sesh. A thoroughly hands-on & collaborative process, I both orchestrated the musical arrangement & recorded all instrumentation, as well as aided in administration & distribution. The track gained nationwide attention, entering at #1 in the iTunes Alternative Chart and #28 in the overall iTunes UK Chart, as well as #8 in the Official Scottish Singles Chart. Follow-up single Chancer was produced with the the same creative process & followed much the same trajectory; entering at #2 on the iTunes UK Alternative Chart and #26 in iTunes UK Chart.

Since the recording of these initial singles, I have recorded & produced what will be PG Ciarletta's debut album, due for release late 2021.

The Sesh was released digitally on 28th August 2020, & Chancer was released digitally on 13th November 2020.
